The ancient trees H3 Pyramid of Shadows is the third adventure in a three-part series that began with H1 Keep on the Shadowfell and H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth. Brothers Gray, The (Dungeon 172, If your PCs aren't ready for H2 after finishing Keep on the Shadowfell, or if you just haven't had enough of Kalarel, these extra encounters can add extra depth to any H1 experience. This D&D adventure for characters of levels 1–3 was previously produced as a D&D Encounters season adventure. H1 Keep on the Shadowfell I found to be “OK.” It was a straight forward linear adventure that was fine for an introduction into 4E but certainly nothing special. This evening, I picked up my copy of Thunderspire Labyrinth from a national retailer (btw, there was one more copy available at the store on the west side of town). With The Keep on the Shadowfell, we had a shiny new edition of D&D that we wanted to learn and explore. For the core Dungeons & Dragons Fourth Edition campaign as described in Fourth Edition Dungeon Master's Guide and continued in H1, Keep on the Shadowfell, H2, Thunderspire Labyrinth, and H3, Pyramid of Shadows. D&D 4.0 H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth - Beneath Thunderspire Mountain lies a sprawling network of mazes, tombs, and caverns collectively known as the Labyrinth of Lost Souls. Halfway through Thunderspire Labyrinth, I think the shine of 4E wore off and the “flatness” of H2 was shown. I have updated my D&D Next conversion of H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth. I am not sure if there were magic items before, but there are now.
